Dr. Cedric C. Johnson

Cedric is the Director of the Kinetic Center. He holds a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College, and a Masters of Divinity and Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Cedric also serves as Associate Professor of Counseling and Human Services at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. He is a consultant, published author, and former psychotherapist. Cedric loves playing the drums, tennis and basketball.

 
 
 

Veronica Cohn-Johnson

Veronica is the Co-Founder of the Kinetic Center. She provides leadership for our programming in the areas of spirituality and wellness. Her vocational background is in the fashion industry, where she has over twenty years of experience. She is an entrepreneur who expresses her creativity in various areas of design. Veronica is also an avid "foodie" and loves to travel.

Jonathan Lopez

Jonathan is a cinematographer, photographer, and designer with focuses in fashion, food, and the arts. He is founder of GoingKnowWhere, a boutique production company highlighting communities of color throughout the US — the customs and the culture. Working with Grammy award winning artists and community leaders all across the US has given him the perspective and know how to adapt to any landscape. Jonathan is also Visual Designer for the LiterarySwag Bookclub, a collective that lies at the intersection of fashion and literature to make literature accessible to people who may not inherently possess an affinity for reading.

 
 
 

Evan Parke

Evan is an actor, writer and media entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has been a principal performer in over a dozen feature films. Evan is the founder/CEO of Arimathea Media Capital, an entertainment and media company whose content highlights the voices and perspectives of people of color and people of faith around the world. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts and a Masters of Divinity from Yale University.

Gabriel Chakarji

Gabriel is a pianist and composer. Originally from Venezuela, he grew up in a musical environment that ranged from Afro-Venezuelan folk, Caribbean, and Brazilian music to jazz and gospel. His experience and versatility made him one of the most sought-after pianists in Venezuela. Gabriel’s participation on Linda Briceño’s album “Tiempo” earned him a nomination for a Latin Grammy Award in 2013. After moving to New York City in 2014, he became active in the local music scene, performing at Dizzy’s Club, the Blue Note, Smalls Jazz Club, and other venues. His compositions and playing are rooted in social justice and multiculturalism.
